Titan's Quest is an action-style role-playing game developed by Iron Lore and published by THQ. Players take the role of a hero/heroine and they fight their way through 3 major places - Sparta/Greece, Egpyt, and Asia. Having been branded as another Diablo II clone, does Titan's Quest offer new features and styles of gameplay or is it really just another sucky Diablo II clone?

When L4D was released back in November of 2008, a lot of PC users were looking for the in-game browser. It turns out that L4D did not have the in-game browser enabled by default unlike other games by Valve that has multi-player e.g. Team Fortress 2. This turned out to be a huge burden for people that have their own servers because well, let's put it this way...they want to play on their 'own' server. And with L4D's matchmaking system it's either a hit or miss. So what do we do then? Simple. Enable it.

Secret Maryo Chronicles is an open-source two dimensional platform game. The first beta release (version 0.27) was back in January 2003 under the name Super Mario Clone FX which looked very similar to the original Super Mario game. The name of the game was changed to Super Maryo Chronicles upon the release of version 0.95 along with several sprite/sound changes to avoid legal problems with the original Super Mario game. Up to this point some people still think that the game has some possible trademark infringement but we're not here to talk about that. We're here to play the latest version of Super Maryo Chronicles (SMC), version 1.9 which features a new type of enemies, sprites, and some editor updates.

Half-Life 2 has been around for more than 5 years now and there's already been a ton of HL2 single-player (SP) and multi-player (MP) mods. Some never make it pass the designing stage while some never really took off. That didn't stop fitzroy_doll from making CSS Sci-Fi 3: Hardwired, a single-player mod for HL2 that combines both HL2 and CSS at the same time. Combining two awesome games into one mod is a very daunting task and usually the expectations are high. Let's check out this new single-player mod for HL2 by fitzroy_doll.

Savage 2: A Tortured Soul is a sci-fi fantasy video game developed and published by S2 Games. It is the sequel to Savage: The Battle For Newerth and it was released on January 16, 2008. S2 Games announced on December 9, 2008 that the game will officially be F2P (Free 2 Play) and that users can pay for a premium Account for some extra features. Looking for a new free game to play that offers both FPS and RTS at the same time with the added bonus of humans versus beasts, I set out to install the game and find it out for myself if it's worth it for casual gamers like me.
