A couple of months ago, ARCTIC has released the Accelero Xtreme 7970, an aftermarket cooler designed to cool AMD's flagship video card, the Radeon 7970. The Accelero Xtreme's signature design is its three 92 mm fans plus the huge 84-fin heatsink that you'll notice almost immediately. Now we all know that the Accelero Xtreme will be a huge upgrade if you have a reference cooler especially in the temperature department. So we stepped it up some more. How will the Accelero Xtreme fare against OEM non-reference coolers like the ASUS DirectCU II?

Watercooling has come a long way. Now we have all-in-one cooling systems that are affordable and easy to install. Corsair's H100 is one of them and as of the time of this writing is Corsair's flagship as far as all-in-one watercooling systems go.
