i need help guys , actually when in task manager i set the priority of HL.EXE to Above Normal in order not to get lag, it works but the problem em facing is that my Steam connection lost after few minutes and i again need to start the game .. what to do to fix that problem..

Well there have two option for you....

1. May be your internet connection getting loss in a frequent interval. So check this and be sure that your internet connection is not disconnected frequently .

2. Some times it happens due to Valve server . Some times it get down and then it just disconnected from steam game with "Warning : Connection Error" with this error.

My Internet connection is good , Nothing wrong with that , steam connection didn't disconnect when i play Normal but it only get disconnected when i put Hl.Exe priority to Above Normal .. need to fix that problem

Which operating system do you use?
And what error it shows when you get disconnected?

Error Simple is You've been disconnected , Reason: The Steam Connection is Lost

I am sure this problem is for Steam.exe and let me know what operating system do you use?
