Back in 2007, a company mostly unknown to those of us here in America released a game called The Witcher. Produced by Polish developer CD Projekt RED STUDIO, an offshoot of CD Projekt Publishing, it was their inaugural release as a developer and quickly became one of the top games in the genre. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, continuing the story based on the work of Andrzej Sapkowski, follows Geralt of Rivia once again as he tries to uncover his past. With a new engine created specifically for this game (REDengine), this game is sure wow us even more than the last one.

Are you the kind of person for who gaming is not a lifestyle, but a means to fill the few empty hours of your week? Do you not care about being the highest level? Do you just want some good old-fashioned action? Then I have the perfect game for you. Space Pirates And Zombies, or SPAZ, is best described as a mix between a 2D space arcade and an RPG. It successfully manages to blend these two genres together into a simple, playable, nice little game, for almost no money at all.

I have literally lost count the number of times I've killed zombies in video games. I've gunned them down, I've beat the shit out of them with a pipe, I've ran them down in a four-by-four and I have forced them to eat their greens. So I wasn't on cloud nine like everyone else when Dead Island slinked onto the shelves, tantalising onlookers with his spectacle of blood and gore. Unfortunately for Dead Island a huge cunt with glasses, bad leg and a God complex got hold of the game and realized that the developers 'Techland' had also developed Call of Juarez: The Cartel a game so bad that the handsome and well-endowed reviewer vowed never to play a game by Techland again, but it's this week's game to I guess I'm boned.

Oh why!? Why what? Another one... Another what? Another strategy game by Paradox Interactive. This breeding place of mediocrity managed to give birth to yet another monger only a mother could love. Quality before quantity is something Paradox Interactive seems to have never heard of, and they keep spewing out games like a fat Kentucky sheriff after too much Mexican food. Again. Why? Why can't they just focus on one game a year, at max, and make it a really good one? Every brilliant game ever made was the result of years of hard work, dedication, genius ideas and hundreds of sleepless nights. Why does Paradox Interactive seem to think otherwise?

What grand time the 40s were. Orson Welles starred as Charles Foster Kane in Citizen Kane, the Microwave oven found its way into the homes and heats of the people and I think there was a war of some kind, but more importantly the Frisbee was invented delighting young and old with its gravity defying antics.

Well butter my britches, whip out the trumps and forward march. I am so on board with this game is considered a sexual assault. Oh cock it's a shoot-'em-up, I thought it was going to be an adventure game. Ah...that's my enthusiasm gone like most women when they speak to me, let's just get this over with.
